Missouri Furniture, family owned since 1977, is looking for a self-motivated, professional leader with experience as a retail Showroom Manager to join our Team! We are one of the largest furniture retailers in the state and still growing strong! Our broad selection appeals to all home furnishing styles and budgets, including furniture, appliances, mattresses, and spas. We pride ourselves on exceptional client service and are seeking positive energy, customer focused professionals to represent our brand and grow with us!
Requirements:
- Ability to create a positive showroom culture and ensure the Sales Professional Team provides excellence in helping our clients Love Where They Live.
- Proven leadership history of managing successful retail sales teams, including training, culture building, motivating, coaching, and celebrating. Experience in furniture sales is preferred.
- Proven excellence at hitting showroom sales goals and achieving team key performance indicators.
- Ability to merchandise a furniture showroom, move furniture, manage warehouse staff, manage visual merchandising staff, and assist clients with furniture pick-ups.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Self-motivated leader who can work independently and also with both in-showroom and cross-company teams.
- College degree required, with a focus on Business, Sales, or Interior Design preferred.
- Available 45+ hours/week, with some evenings required, plus weekends and most holidays to accommodate client shopping behavior.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment, and to embrace continuous improvement.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
